Has anybody OC'd a QX6700 on phase change yet? I currently have one running on an Asus P5B Deluxe at 3.44ghz 340 x 10 on air cooling. Considering a Vapochill LS, but still wondering what I might gain for the cost. Any thoughts or experience pushing this beast to the max?
4.3 on stock vapochill LS
At 4.2 Ghz, it'll run anything all day
At 4.3, it'll run almost anything, but eventually in orthos, temps go positive and things get dicey.
Need to upgrade my vapochill, to keep things under control
hope that helps...sli 220999 in 3dm06

280x15=4.2ghz with modded vapo.
4Ghz is a realistic number with phase. Make sure your motherboard supports multiples over 10x correctly.

I can almost guarantee thet performance for cost you would be better off going with a custom unit from a builder than with a vapochill: temps are lower, Unit looks better, the controllers are better, gasses used and for whatever load you want. The list goes on and on.

What kinda vcore are you using to get to 4ghz? I have found that I have been getting better OCs at lower vcore (currently at 1.45) than by raising it, even though at the higher vcore the full load temp seemed to stay below 50c.
1100 x 15 on evga 680i at 1.55v which turns out to be 1.47volts @ 4.125Ghz
in bios temps are -28C
I f you intend to push the limits, then I agree with a previous post, to get a stronger phase unit
Fugger: what did you have done to your vapo and who did it?
We seem to end up with very similar scores in the various benches

If you live in the US talk to Jinu117 and check out his thread here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92509
Jin is modding my Lightspeed now and if I knew his services were available when I decided to go with phase I never would have purchased a manufactured unit. So far I can tell you from first hand experience his units run much quieter and the customer service is a hell of a lot better, plus you will save more then a few $$. I needed to order a replacement cable from Asetek and was robbed of $53.00 after 3 weeks and multiple emails.
Good luck with your phase venture.
