This is a very simple question, but what do you use to hold service gauges in a viewable position during testing and tuning? Put a large screw/hook/nail in the wall and hang them off of that? Ring stand? The computer case? Equipment rack? Something else?
I have always just held them in position until I realized that I can't hold the gauges and type commands at the same time.

I usually have my gauges hanging from a chair or in cases when I'm charging from a propane cylinder, from the protective steel hand holds and let the gauge cluster rest against the side of the tank. I tend to use the chair technique as I then pull the hoses through the back of the chair and use the chair as a place to sit whenever I am lost in thought. It might also help that I have lengthy hoses that make this possible.

Mine are usually laying on the floor or hanging on whatever is convenient at the moment.

Anything that will hold securely, Could be side rail on my working table, holes in small benches I always open to use and fold up when done, etc, etc.

I have the hook on my gauges attached to some string then i am able to have them hanging from what ever thats directly above them. As i am in the garage there are bolts to attach them too., :)

Same :p:. My gauges are currently hooked over the top of my propane tank which is on a trolley next to the table.
