Hi there..

Today I went to turn on my HTPC and nothing happens.. the wierd part is that the POWER LED on the front of the case stays lit all the time when the system is plugged in to the wall.. I tested the PSU's 12V, 5V, 3.3V with DMM, all put out the right voltage. I dont have another PSU with a 4pin P4 connector, but when I plug in a PSU without it, the system turns on, the fans come on, but no POST. After that I used the power button to turn it off, it turned off and the power light went off. When I hook the original PSU back up, the power light comes on, but that's all it does. Anyone had this problem before?

Thanks bros :)

It's an older MSI K7N2GM2 mobo with a Mobile Athlon XP 2000+ ..has two sticks of 256MB, swapped those around, no luck..

This might be a stupid question, but have you tried resetting CMOS yet?

oh, btw, got the PSU (special SFF one) from www.thenerds.net .. they shipped the same morning I ordered, got here the 2nd day, and they answered the phone very quickly and emailed me an RMA # right away in case I did not need the PSU.. the website is not the easiest to navigate and the shipping was like $10 but still, pretty good stuff..
