Is in Italian, but you can use Google for english translation :

Anybody that can speak italian mind telling me what their loaded and unloaded cpu temps and evap temps were? I can't seem to find them in the translation, or at least I'm not sure what the temps in the translation refer to.

Oh, and any word on what refrigerant they are using? Is it in fact r404a or r134a?

The pics on Vr-zone show it to use the same compressor as the standard prom (Danfos NL11F) and R134a. -50 deg C is pretty darn good for R134a.

I was hoping they would change the way that eva. fits the cpu, Vapochill is much easier & neater, even removing it is a pain.

????

I always found Vapochill more of a pain in the ... then Prommy evap . Not so much to worry about. Contanct is very good everytime. Less risk crushing AMD's etc.

Nope in my book the prommy evap. deff wins from the vapo.

I can do that and better with my "old" style prommie and still have enough money left to blow a mobo or some ram along the way

I really think a GFX package would have gone down better....

You dont know how good/bad their CPU was. Or how they pushed it in general.

So often you read reviews where they get a low overclock, try it yourself and you usually get a lot more. Depends on the chip, too. Some CPU's really dont like supercooling that much. I think if you go out and buy a Mach II and 3.00 you're likely to end up between 4 and 4.2 GHz stable.

They wrote, that their 3.06 PIV did 3,7 Ghz in a vapochill SE before and now nearly 4 Ghz with the Mach II.

I am Italian :)

Sorry for my bad inglish.

I'have see the test of MachII. I am remained disappointed :( I waited for myself temperatures more low.
the p4 3.0 has working perfect full test to 4Ghz with 1.75v. With more voltage it does not be possible state to increase stable over 4Ghz.

The temp record from the sensor of the IC7: Only -21° Idle and -2° load With Hyper-Threading enable.

These values are like to the temperatures of the old prome

At least the test was somewhat indicatiove of Mach II's performance. I would have hoped it to be around the ball park of an R404a modded original.

A better review would be to pit an original Prom against the Mach II. Using the exact same components. Then we at least can discount some of the variability in build quality of the individual parts. Resulting in far more accurate numbers.

Yes Lord.

Still 2 or 3 days and the machII arrives me. I detach the mine old prometeia and I ascend immediately the new machII. You how with the same system you said I am able I can see me the precise differences.

To be continued

Don't forget to "add" another -10* C coz of the ABIT Mobo(reads about 10* C more than real).....So -2 = -12* C..... ;)

I am in wait of the MACHII.

Just I receive it. I can do precise tests of the difference from the old prome to the new MachII.Using the same hardware....

When i am ready to do the tests I open a new discussion :toast:

Bye
