This water block is perfect for chilled liquid cooling.
It is made from solid copper, the top is soldered to the bottom, the barbs are made from brass (1/2" i.d) and once they are soldered in place, it will be able to withstand the extreme expansion/contraction conditions of a chilled liquid loop. That said it is also an excellent standard water cooling block.
Made right here in New Zealand by our good friend Tojja.
I plan to experiment a little with this block, I need to make a S775 bracket adaptor and also solve the cap clash issue
All and all, this is a great block and will soon see some negative temperatures.

Looks nice. I have a Polarflo TT myself, which I've planned on using for chilled water. Does anyone know if it'll be any good? It's solid copper, and/or alu I think.

I prefer the silverprop blocks. They may be two piece but you can easily braze them shut in a sec or use low temp epoxy. And they perform fantastically. Hard to find but Alex has them in stock at petras tech shop.

No pics of the innards sorry. But if you’re curious of the path inside the block, I know it doesn't go straight from one barb to the other, some thought has gone into it. The channel path has about 160mm according to this....

Made by LiquidCC in New Zealand, the Surge is an 80 by 50 by 12.5mm (width by depth by height) bolt-mount copper water block with about 160mm of channel inside it. It's got half-inch hose fittings that've been reamed out to a 10mm inside diameter.

The Surge's design isn't revolutionary, but it's solid and weighty, its base is lapped flat, its fit and finish are excellent (every face of the water block but the base has an anti-corrosion lacquer coating, so it'll stay coppery-pink), and it's got a decent price, too.

The price doesn't matter if the block doesn't perform, of course. Fortunately, it does. It scored 0.36°C/W, right up there with the other high-ranking water blocks.

And the good thing about these blocks is i'm about to aquire another 10 more for a very sharp price ;)

Only if you plan on chilling your coolant to 0°c or above

Yes unfortunately LiquidCC Aren't making water blocks any more.
I am about to receive the last of the LiquidCC surge water blocks, Tojja is going to send me everything he has left. So depending on how many I end up with, I may have a few for sale to Chilled loop applications.

I soldered in the barbs tonight, Here is a pic while I wait for it to cool.

The silverprop blocks I purchased a few years back I'm still using, but the quality of them is poor. The ones I have (CPU and NB) are made of copper base but the main body is muck-metal. The have corroded badly. This is partly because of the poor quality water I ran through them initially.

But it is good to know you have some blocks GoD. Local sourcing is always difficult for NZ.

Those are very old models. New blocks are of very high quality.

Yeah imdying had one of those old school silverprop blocks and had the same problem. The new silverprop's tho are very yummy.
Will have shims and mounting brackets made up this week sometime for the LiquidCC.
I also split one open the other day to see what her innards looked like ;) I'll get sum pics for you later today.
