Two cooling ducts for those power hungry FX chips.

What about the one with the huge 250mm fan. Wouldn't that work just as well, and cool a lot more than just the two procs?

Hmmmm, you'd think they would make ducts that are better for their own sinks, like the TTBT-vx, but do those even fit?

You see.. I would say this is another pile of a junk, but I actually think this one is a good idea. This case actually has function, unlike the fata1ty crap case and the SLI/CF cases.
thunderstruck!

It's annoying when all of your posts are in bold blue font.

I agree with Vapor. If you're going to make both tower coolers and cases, why not make them work together?!
Wait... hang on a second, I'm not buying 4x4! Why do I care?

I didn't know he did that in every post:lol:
Some people just want style in every post they make. Hmm maybe I should look into changing the appearance of my posts:D

i don't know if you guys looked or not, but it's actually a pretty sweet case, could be nice competition for the CM stacker if priced right.

Didn't you get the memo? Blue is the new Black.
But in all seriousness, This case don't look half bad. A push in the right direction.

it looks to me like they just add 2 ports to the panel. Maybe I'm blind but the rest looks like the other Kandalf cases.

Pretty much correct on that it seems, but a good call for two big heat sources to get some cool air on them. Might be a limited crowd buying the 4x4, but for those that do this will be nice if they don't already have a Stacker or are afraid to mod their own sidepanels.

It's good to know that when QFX parts finally do show up, there will be a good case to put them in. Pity it doesn't come with a 1000W PSU and water cooling though...
BTW, if QFX uses 650W with a single 7900GTX, how big a PSU will it need for SLI?

Garbage...
Just a Kandalf case with 2 ducts that would have proabably
cost less than a USD to make... :nono:
Who needs ducts?!
Everyone who know enough will go buy an aftermarket
cooler, which will be bloody tall and make ducts obsolete...

Here's a good idea for air-cooling a QFX system. Two of these blowers might do the job.

I'd just hook up one of these to the case...

The Stacker and the Kandalf are in totally different categories. The Stacker is a well-built case with understated aesthetics.
Kandalf is for LAN-party -ers who want a case that shouts, "Look at me!"
For a flashy LAN-party case, I'd go for the Cooler Master Ammo. But then, I like CM cases, don't I?

Yes, but getting external air to that area of the motherboard will help immensely. Every case I have I cut 4 holes in the side right acroos from the ram and heatsink and install 80mm fans in them. It's a huge, huge benefit, regardless of how good the heatsink itself is.

1.2kW PSU
Or maybe one would like to consider a 2-3KW PSU, you know: Quad SLI, Quad Core CPU's (and even 2 sockets), Dual Monitors, Quad Chasis... what's next? Quad Mice ?

Did they just say that a case is going to lower your ambient temperatures by having 2 ducts? Amazing! These magical ducts are amazing!
oh come on...those ducts are pot noodle pots....I`ll make my own and have a snack at the same time. I might stick with this colour and font size...pretty snazzy huh? :slap:
