Problems with IE6 [Archive] - XtremeSystems Forums

Hey fellas i'm having trouble with my IE6 browser. I use both IE6 and the latest version of firefox. The problem is when ever i open up IE6 and want to go to google or some other site, it keeps shifting me to firefox. I never had this problem before. I've been using firefox for about a year now and this is the first time this has happen. I did try to install IE7 but I didn't like it so I uninstalled IE7. Every since then IE6 hasnt' been working. Any ideas?:stick:

I dont no, but why you don't use Firefox 2.0?? is better than IE6!

Have you checked to see which one is now your default browser?

Never mind guys. I got it fixed. I had to reinstall sp2. And all of sudden no problems. I think the reason why it messed up was, when I tried installing IE7 and I uninstalled it, that's when everything started messing up.

I do use firefox2. But sometimes when I have that browser up, it shuts down by itself. I dont knwo why it's doing that. Any ideas?
