I run Corsair PC-4400 on my A8N-SLI-Pre and it does 2.7Ghz at 2.5-3-3-7 :)
I think my son has one of the newer mobo's and to my surprise it booted just fine at 2.6Ghz with 1T...

I had to go RMAing through 4 A8N-SLI Premium to get one that would even run 4 sticks of RAM at DDR400.

The one I got in the end seems to be pretty good, though.

The A8N-* series seems to be very very flacky with only some individual boards coming out right. Interestingly enough the cheaper A8N5X is rock solid from start.
