Hey guys, long time no chat. Been away for a while but I am back and ready to get crunching. Just got WCG installed since I realized that everyone left rosetta. I was hoping to get back with The_Machine but I figured I might as well start crunching tonight. Anyway Good to be back guys. :woot:

Thanks guys for the welcome. I am running this on my main conroe rig, and will have it on a few more soon. Any suggestions on optimizations or tweaks or anything similar about running WCG vs. Rosetta. Also I am using the previous install of boinc ver. 5.2.13 is that going to hinder performance? I got 4519/18500 on the benchmarks, with an e6300@3300mhz its obviously ALOT better than my A64 x2 days but is this about on par? Thanks again!

We are not using the optimized files now. Machines with those get penalized. We are using the standard client. Either 5.4.9 or 5.4.11.

i'd say so, i mean some of our teammates have cloverdales, but i'd say that my personal rig (E6300@3360) holds it's own when it comes to WCG points.

Anyhoo, I got ths running on my main compy and my girlfriends core solo lappy so far. Adding 1 AXP and 1 p4 tonight. I have another AXP compy here that is needing ram. If anyone has an old crappy 256 stick or even 512 of ddr that they don't need I can buy it off of you just to get another compy running.
