my mobo is giving me headaches.. it gives my 3 red diagnostic leds and the fourth one flashing all the time and i have to clear cmos to get it to post. but if i get it to post and go into bios (w/ or w/out cmos jumper and battery replaced) and alter, or leave w/out saving it usually will go 3 leds and the fourth flashing -_- .. happens w/ both my sets of ram (corsair3200xltccd256x2 and 2x1g oczperf.) im thinking its my mobo and not my cpu or ram : / ... i ran prime 95 @ 290X10 1.5vcpu, ram 420 mhz, no extreme voltages anywhere.. board ran solid for almost a year now until this.. any thoughts?
edit: i read that he fourth led is for the cpu so : / but.. it all seems too random to be my cpu as the problem... once i get into windows i seem to have no probs: /

i believe its your cpu it sounds like its flaking off. i had a 3200+ do that to me recently it started with what i thought were cold boot issues on my lan party expert. and now it barely posts. i have to try 5 or six times even in my asus or abit board.

Three leds means a Ram issue you need to try just 1 stick in the orange slot furthest from the cpu. restart and set to optimized defaults. run memtest if stable replace the second sticlk reboot and ensble 1T
I beleive this board degrades fast.
I have the same issues (My CPU is good for 3ghz and starting hardlocking on this board all of a sudden after a year..)
I tried another CPU pulled from the other computer, tried to turn it at similar speed/voltage. Same thing, the board degrades.... Myabe the 4v option puts under alot of strain overall...
