Hi there, it seems I have an issue with my USB ports on my P5W64...I have tried to connect my USB key 1G to my USB port and the key blinked just once and then nothing...have tried another port (all of them!) and nothing...than I have changed the USB key and again not functioning. After a few restarts and looking for the cause of the failure in the BIOS I have connected my phone (Nokia N70) with the USB cable and the phone restarts in a few seconds and the battery indicator have fallen by 3 lines...I have disconnected the phone, have connected it to the charger and it was all OK till this morning...my phone have charged to full and I have disconnected it from the charger...this morning no response from the phone...nothing, nada, niente,....it could be the USB ports are faulty and the give to devices some sort of "shock"?

Regards,
Primoz

p.s. My mouse on USB is still working properly...but I have noticed that even the PC is shut down the mouse the light on the mouse is working...

If the mouse is working then look at a software problem. Best I can think of is to check your mouse in all the ports just to be sure and then check usb drivers.

Once your machine is plugged into power it will power the usb ports.
