New Vapochill Firmware allows compressor temps of -50C?Check this.

1. "Hold temp. at" temperature limit changed from -20'C to -50'C

ChillControl Firmware
2. Reset during start-up has been disabled in order to utilize the overheat protection of Intel P4 CPUs. When the "Start PC at" temperature is reached the reset is held for 0.5 secs. to make sure the system starts.
3. All display LEDs are now turned on during microprocessor initialization/reset.
4. ADC value for E041 error notification changed to 2.

I have 1.5 version in my Vapo PE and i am gonna flash it very soon i guess...

Did it get this right?Does the new firmware allow the compressor to reach even lower temps???

Just coz you can set -50 doesnt mean it will actually get that low. I can set the prom to -99 (I think) but it would take nothing short of a miracle to get that low.

Mine might get that low if i put it in the freezer, with no load.
