I think im going to go with the DFi as much as the Asus one is tempting. Im more steamrolled by the prices however.. Is this because Intel charges Nvidia royality fees or something?

i dont think its intel charging royalities i think its because they are just released i remmber the p5b deluxe was around 250 when it was first released now its down to bellow 200. im going to get the p5N32-E once it comes down in price 300 is wayyy to much for it.

Asus Striker, i can get it for 250 Euro here in Holland, DFI will probably be released december and honestly i got tired of waiting. If they would have thrown me a freaking bone over the past months i would have stuck it out.

qft. Asus boards are horrible. The only part of DFI I like is the LanParty series, they simply own.

lol look at that Gigabyte board! it has rediculously few cooling. especially compared to other 680i boards. by the looks of it, they just placed DS3 heatsinks on that board.

OT: ill wait till RD600 hits the shelves and see who performs best. by then those xtreme prices will have come down, im not gonna pay €280 for a mobo
dont care about waiting. i've been waiting on RD600 ever since conroe launched and 2 extra months wont make a difference.
if rd600 fails to please me ill get a abit or asus P5N32-e

Anyone else notice the top right (as in the picture) of that Gigabyte board has a chunk missing from the corner?

Strange...

I'll stick with my P5b-D for now.

if someone releases a 680i that clocks much better then ill jump... most likely abit or dfi.

I've been eyeing ABIT's new 965 board even.

Striker looks pretty good. DFI needs to be reviewd first I would say. They have been hit or miss lately.

Asus Striker Extreme for me, I like the placement of the SB little more room for WCing than the other boards.

my preference best of dfi or gb650 - both have no heatpipes - i have an upside down case. Might get a p5n-e for a play. But i wood like to add that gigabyte colours look like clown's puke  - but!! it's probably a great board
looking for good stable VR..did i read 12 phase somewhere?? - yeah gigabyte dq6 - heatpipes everywhere...it will be nice when they are all out and i can pick my favourite one :) abit in9 does look good...i'd cut the hp from the sb for inverted case.
