i have the setup in my sig and running stock everything now. well i started with the 7800gs. boot up windows system stable no problems. when i try to do anything to do with the video card(ati tool, games) it locks up and i have to restart it. i tried nvidia drivers 93.xx, 91.xx and same problem. took out the 7800gs and installed my 5500fx card. booted up installed drivers and ran fine idling in window same as 7800gs. same problem and also tried the same drivers plus 84.xx. i can run orthos cpu and ram blend for as long as i want and no lock up. temps r 35c idle and 40c load with lapped cpu and water block. also this is on a fresh install of windows xp home sp2 all updates. both video cards work fine in my other computer. all settings in bios for agp are default and have tried agp voltage on all available settings. my psu on the 12v rail im gettin 12.28 and my 5v is 5.128 at all times load or idle so i wouldnt think it would be my psu. motherboard is sittin on the cardboard box it came in so nothings grounded out. running 1 stick of geil ddr500 512mb and seems fine. no pci cards. sata 200gig seagate barracuda hd and seems fine. also tried booting with all kinds of different settings in bios and nothing works all the same. first board was doa and sent back this one seems fine but the agp slot seems to be not working. well i dont know wut else to say so tell me wut u guys think.
