Quick question guys

i was wondering about the thermal "tape" on the northbridge heatpipe combo..
where it is on the north bridge, it has tim....but on the PWM's? ( P5WDG2 WS PRO ) it has a strip of thermaltape on the heatsinkpipe combo

i am replacing the tim with as5 on the board, and want to know if i can use as5 on the PWM's

They are probably uneven, so they need the thick pad to make contact with the heatsink.

yeah they are not manufactured to be perfectly even hence the thick tape that has indentions of the mosfets on it
just leave it alone, cooling them better will not help

i realized that they were uneven after looking closer.
after some "tweaking" with the pipe, i got them so they are at least making contact on both rows to the thermal tape
