last night i pulled my asus out of the case, and set up my evga 680i.
first, let me say, when i first got the asus, i didnt even post, after a call to asus, the tech told me to boot up with no cpu, ram, or vid card...to reset back to factory specs...that solved the no post issue.

i had a pretty good oc with the asus 410x9, with ram running 4.4.4.12 (1:1)
my issues were, on cold boot or warm boot, sometimes windows would not load until i would unplug my usb kb and mouse, other than that, i had a stable oc.

the evga posted right up no prob,, set up the raid, and was off to loading the os, with about 15min left, i blue screened...nvraid was the error....second try, no problem...
the bios took a bit of time to adjust to,compared to the asus bios, and so far its looking good. however, i cant seem to reach the same oc i had with the asus, and mem timings need to be looser..( 5.5.5.17.) .

if any one can give me some suggestions for bios settings, including ram timings, i would be very thankful for the help.
all my specs are in my sig...

Hey man, your p5wdg2 ws pro's rig is similar to mine
we r both using x6800, same mobo, same RAM, and same HDD~
maybe you can try FSB between 377, 400~410, and 415!
For some reasons, I found out that the cpu temp is dramatically higher
at FSB between 400~410mhz, but it drops when FSB raised up to 415...
it's so weird!
Anyways, im still working hard on my setup, if you got any further info on 680i, i'll check it out! i was waiting for that chipset too, but instead i bought p5wdg2 wsp ro back in sept~

Keep in mind it's *BLEEDING EDGE* new.

Make sure you find newest Bios, they should start cranking them out as more people adopt the 680 series boards.

Plenty of people and review sites have had great results..Probably just a small setting somewhere, keep tweaking.

true true...my eyes are starting to bleed....lol
yeah, compared to the pro's on this site, i am a complete n00b
i am looking for a newer bios, none posted so far.
i was hoping someone like fugger might step in and be kind enough to give me some advice on settings ;)
