Anger Managment '06 - Lan Party- Bryan,Ohio

Oh yes its back, Anger Management Lan Party 2006.

When: December 16, 2006 12 noon until December 17 ???
Where: Data Eclipse Inc. 677 N.Main Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506
Cost: $10 entry fee and some extra money for Soda and Raffle tickets. (Pizza is included in the entry fee)


If you've missed the last 3yrs you don't know what your missing. This year we're striding to be the best. We have TONS of sponsors on board and currently working for more! There will be prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd places in each tournament along with trophies! Door Prizes and a raffle for something BIG ;) (I can't disclose everything)

Games:There will be 3 main tournaments. The tournaments are Battlefield 2, Counter Strike: Source and an TBD game. (most likely a HL2 Mod)

Bring all of your games! The 3 main tournaments should only last until early in the night.

Not much camping around the area, if you need a place to crash I can put up a few fellow XS guys. (we have a 30ft travel trailer that sleeps 6-8ppl)

yeah its about 3 hrs or so from my House @ Perm Addy, but about 5 from school but i'll be @ Home,

depending on work and Girlfriend schedule,

believe it or not i've never been to a LAN party but i especially dont wanna be draggin my Stacker the 3hrs or so... plus sleepin w/ a stacker wouldnt necessarily be fun ;) however Harassing RodZilla may be worth it :D im a Probably not at the moment but i may surprise you guys.

Hey guys, quick intro here, I work with Wes and I'm taking care of a lot of the lan party management. We've started setup for the tourny, I urge any of you that plan on attending to register HERE (http://www.dataeclipse.com/lanparty/registration.asp) It looks like Antec is a late scratch on the sponsorship as they have stopped responding to my emails after stating they'd sponsor, I fear that Tagan is doing the same, but I'll give them a break since they are just getting their US market up and going and it was in fact the European Market that stated they would sponsor and then they shoved it off to the US Marketing department. But back to the task at hand, it's very important that people that intend on coming register so that we know how many tables I need to get setup and how many more patch cables we'll need to make. The door fee is to cover for pizza and operating expenses at the lan party, this is completely non profit, any profit made on the lan party will be either donated to charity or poured into an account for bigger and better lan parties in the future. Thanks everyone.

P.S. I seen someone had inquired about a ramp, I'm assuming for a wheel chair, we have one attendee that is in a wheel chair. The issue this year is we no longer have access to our large wharehouse so the lan party will be held on a balcony and anyone in need of handicap access will be seated below the balcony with restroom access as well. If this is an inconvenience for anyone I apologize but in case of a fire I really don't feel like throwing someone over the balcony :D If you have any questions feel free to contact me, lanparty@dataeclipse.com.

Well its 2:30am, we had 35 registered people and 29 show up with a few stragglers so around 32 total.

We had some troubles but are still having fun and gave away around $1200 in hardware.

YOu know I have been looking around philly and granted I can't say that I really know where to look, but have yet to see a LAN planned or have happened anywwhere around here. :-( I Have never been to one, granted I am not a FPS er, I would love to see one for Mechwarrior and or some flight sims.

Not sure how many smaller lan parties would have flight sims. The few NOLGA events i have been to were ok. It was all FPS and RTS games.
