Just wanted to ask you guys whats the best wireless keyboard and mouse
that are out there right now.
Been using crappy wire keyboards for a long time now, and they
are annoying the sheeet outta me.
Going to spoil myself and try to get something that is expensive :D
Something that is a luxury, not a scam :p:
(luxury as, for example, western digital raptor, HDD waterblock or RAM
waterblock, or HDD silencer/cooler, etc. Works, increases performance,
but not a money smart choice  )
Only brand I know is logitech and razer...
Any suggestions?

I have been using the Logitech MX3100 for about a year now. It's great, I have no problems with it. Wireless keyboard is nice, sometimes I dont appreciate it as much. I think they have an upgraded MX3200 now since mine is discontinued. Not sure if that is the best money can buy but definitely right up there.

Wireless keyboard I have no idea. Mouse, logitech is your only option. Razer makes gaming mice. Wireless sucks for gaming so they won't use it.

I've tried several ones.
Logitech: Didn't like the look and keyboard feel. The lettering is small. I like to see big letters on the keyboard.
MS: Didn't like the keyboard feel.
Old IBM wireless combo: Awesome keyboard feel and space saving design. But, it died.
Curretly, I'm using a Dell combo (not the new bluetooth). I like the feel and space saving layout. But, lots of sticky keys and the mouse eats up batteries too fast.

I use mine for gaming and it works great. No lag, instant response and the battery lasts a long time.

I also had that mouse... for a week. What is right for you is not so for everyone else ;) . Battery does last a long time though.

mx 1000 ftw. I have one, it's awesome.
I don't like the G7. It < MX 1000.
Try the 3100 combo.

hmmm, indeed... hmmmm...
Couldn't find that anywhere :D
On the other hand, is the Lithium Ion recharable Mice or keyboards bad?
Buying AA batteries all the time would be annoying :p
BTW, do anyone of ya know any "WHITE" mouse of keyboards?
Trying to match my monitor and my PC chasis

As far as color, you can have any color you want as long as it's black. :ROTF:

Keyboard, get anything.
Mouse, go with Logitech G7. Never really thought wireless mouses were good for gaming until I used this.

Hmmm, I thinking of buying the MX5000 Combo (keyboard and mouse)
The keyboard looks pretty decent and the mouse is like a MX1000 mouse.

Depending on prices and whatnot, you could do what I ended up doing, and that was getting the mouse and keyboard seperately (at different times, didn't plan it that way). I ended up with a G7 mouse (which I love) and an LX300 keyboard (just tossed the POS mouse it came with into my backup bin) and I'm quite enjoying it. The keyboard has a nice layout, good size, and being just a keyboard on the keyboard receiver there's no lag involved.
I found I got the best of both worlds by getting them seperately - a keyboard that doesn't cost an arm and a leg yet is still good and an excellent mouse.

White? eww.... I would rather replace my monitor and case to match my mouse... jk
Closest bet would be the mx 610: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=10917

I went and bought the G7 (black and gray) and the G15 keyboard :p
G7 for $83 CAD, G15 for $60 CAD. (plus the PST and GST).
Hopefully these two do their jobs :)

Ya I know. But the thing is, ppl have been telling me that with both wireless
keyboard and mouse, sometimes one of them drop; from signal interference,
I guess
For instance, it was noted, with the MX5000 combo (both wireless) that
they either one of the keyboard or mouse dropped while it was being tested
during several reviews...
Well, G15 for that price was a bargain, so I couldn't refuse it...
Market price for the G15 ranges from $60~$100 USD.
Mind you $60 CAD in USD is close to $52~53 USD, which can only be found
if your lucky on eBay :D

I'm using Logitech MX3000 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/GB/EN,CRID=2162,CONTENTID=10709). Quite happy with it. Mouse has the same engine and performance with MX1000. Keyboard is very good also.
I'm considering upgrading to a G7 in the future however... :)

why the need of wireless
Because cords suck?
topaimz
11-05-2006, 06:52 PM
Indeed.
Now all I need is a extension USB cord, so I can pull the G15's cord toward
the back of the desk and hide it, so it looks like its wireless :D

haha true..:) i tell ya i dont appreciate my wireless keyboard enough. But it's pretty convenient and less wiring to worry about. There are 3 things I will never go back to and that is non-modular psu, floppy drive, and wired keyboard & mouse. Just cant do it..

I have a Logitech G7 I got off eBay. I love it. The wrong way.
As for keyboards, best option is prolly getting the keyboard from the Logitech MX5000 set (all over ebay) and get a bluetooth reciever for your PC.
A MX5000 would be a great set to get, too, if you're not gaming a lot.
