That will perform very well. I just got a very similar setup, with the Media Center to Vista Home Premium free upgrade also. The differences are 15.4" screen, 5400rpm HD, 256mb ATI X1400 and 1gb of memory. It was under $900 though so it was a smoking deal. It won't perform like yours but its still very fast and for the price point it was unbeatable.

I hope you plan on having it plugged in most of the time.

I dunno...i'm sure the one you have DM is an expensive one.

Get one with a Mobile x1600 and you should be able to play most games really well. No notebook is worth it if it costs more than $1000...its just so much better to invest anything over that into a desktop if you ARE serious about pc gaming.

What if you need mobile computing power for your job? How about desktop replacements? Could be a wise choice if you travel a lot. Everyone has their reasons, saying a laptop over 1k is worthless is an awfully stupid statement.

I don't make awfully stupid statements...unless people click on my nick, go to "Find All Posts By Perkam" and respond to each one.
