yes but your cpu score still kind of sucks - time to go dual core.

Like Avman said, the only thing holding you back is the CPU. Graphics scores both 4000+, but CPU score barely 1000+. With a better CPU, you could *possibly* add an extra 1000 points or more to your overall score. You could definately get an extra few 100. And if you OC the graphics card more, you could also add a few 100 extra points.
I was thinking about getting a 4800+
I got one for my brother yesterday and his CPU score wasnt that much high than mine so I wasnt in any rush :)

Well, maybe his board is holding him back , or the ram (latencies 1T command) all play a part but like Lane-K said the X2 4800 should be able to get over 2000 point with an OC. I'm gettign an Opteron 165 to play with tomorrow will run a 2006 on it to see the score, he told me it runs easily 300 x 9 at stock voltage. If it does I'll buy it !! Here's the score with a E6400 OC to 3200mhz ; small Oc on the vidcard 580/1360 it gets really hot to run it at these speeds 24/7

Is your total score that much higher just from the CPU score?

Yes. You can't underestimate the importance of a good CPU. It helps a lot, especially with benches, but with real-word apps as well. Dual core is the way to go now.

around 10K is the max i got with it, probably due to heat. Your cpu seems like it is holding you back some. Your SM2/HDR is in range, usually 4000-4200 when everything is running right. CPU score should be 2000+ to get near 10K.
