Hi all,

I just got my ASUS P5W DH Deluxe with Conore E6600 and Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4 DDR2, 2048MB CL4, Kit w/two 1GB Dimm's, E.P.P Technology. I've just updated the bios to 1503 because i had problem with shutting down from windows xp sp2. When i shut down from windows it started again after 2 or 3 seconds so i have to push the button for like 5 secs to shut the computer. Did i miss some settings?

Thanks in advance

For what its worth, i had the same problem when i first got mine. The problem was my USB Keyboard (G15), the port it was plugged into the board didnt seem to like, moving it to another USB plug solved the problem, think i might have had it in the USB port that had the sticker on it for the remote BS stuff.

Also to date when you tell windows to shutdown, it does, monitor goes black but everything thats powered, fans, waterpump etc stays on for another 7 seconds or so before it finally shuts off.

And the last power problem, having everything disabled in bios, if you push a key on the keyboard the computer will still boot up, even though its disabled in the bios, for me, its a big problem since it turns the computer on without turning the vapochill on, see the problem? :)

Thankfully this is just a board to get me by for a couple monthes until the 680i comes out.
