Hey guys.
I installed sp2 in my system 2 times now and after i restart, it just hangs at the windows logo loading screen.
I can't get safe-mode to even load.
And recovery console does not see my intel raid as a hard drive so i can't do anything. Anyone else have solutions for this problem?

Specs are:
E6600
ASUS P5W64
Mushkin (2 x 1GB) XP2-6400
ATI x850xt
2 x 150GB WD Raptor RAID
Thermalright Ultra-120

i dont understand how you installed it two times? did you re-format twice and both times when updating to sp2 it hangs? are u using a SP2 file? try it from windows updates instead next time, you might be able to do a soft repair to windows to get back into the OS.

Yes the first time i installed SP1a and it resulted in hanging at the windows loading logo. Then i wrote zeros to both drives reinstalled xp.

Then i updated windows with SP2 via the automatic updates, and it left me with the same results.

I really need either SP1 or SP2 to work for some of my new programs to work,
Ive never really had this kind of problem on any computer except this one.

I dont know if that slip install of SP2 would work?

You could try: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=120841 (you need just one SP - that is SP2 Build 2600 (never had problems whit this build, it's the latest.)
