hi guys

i have now a powercolor x1950xtx at home ...
its a nice card ... but .... on of my friends want to exchange his ASUS 7950GX2 ( 550 / 700 stable ) vs. my X1950XTX and he gives ne money for ANNO 1701 ... 44€ .... I'm at a loss what to do

I would say the ASUS 7950GX2 would be faster then your card.

The 7950GX2 performs best in most cases, but not all.

And then there is the case of Noise, where the GX2 makes noise like a jet fighter, where the X1950XTX is'nt thát bad.

But with your SLI MoBo, then you have the argument of quad SLI in your favor, if those geeks at nVidia can make a driver that funktions.

Every body told you not to sell your 7900GTX and yet you sold it now everybody said do it and you didn?t

In Germany we say --> Dumm wie ein Meter Feldweg .. @kemo660 & TAG

I exchanged my old X1900XTX vs. a 7900GTX + 100€ .... -.- ... Cause the GTX havnt got a quittance ... So i decided to sell my GTX in ebay ... 320€ + 100€ = 420€.... For 400€ i boughted a new Card X1950XTX ..

Pls dont be so stupid ....

No it isnt because i dont want to buy this new Card ... Im waiting for refreshed r600 cards ... the g80 isnt so much faster than the cards at the moment .... you dont need it at this time, crysis isnt released, vista too ....

8800GTX performs the same as dual radeon x1950XTX in cross fire so you can?t say isn?t much faster

in my world thats alot better.

From what ur saying i think u prefer ATI.
No matter if u prefer ATi or Nvidia i would have totaly accepted the trade.
If ur a ATi fan u could have always sold the 7950GX2 and bought a new x1950xt and would even have money left (like [TAG]Imp suggested).

or the even better choice.
accepted the trade, sold the 7950GX2, wait a few days add some money and buy a 8800GTS.
