Ok Ive got an asus X800xl which due to an x1900gt arriving tomorrow is retiring from my main rig.
So i want to have it as part of my media/internet rig but I really want to use its VIVO ability so I can plug in a composite video (from my gamecube) and view it on my monitor.
I'm sure thats not much to ask, but I've been trying to get it working and googling furiously for the last 3 or 4 hours and I havn't got a clue how to make it work.
Has anyone got any advice? I'll post a pic of the breakout box in a minute and any other info you ask for but this really has me stumped :confused:
thanks, Ed.

|EDIT| heres the breakout box;

I don't think that break out box is not really for watching an input source (tv, gamecube, etc) it's more for captureing from VCR or an older camcorder.

Thanks Silver, looks like I got the wrong end of the stick on the whole VIVO thing :)

Have you tried setting up the CCC to intake?

The Video-In is meant for recording, not for playing videogames. A console game looks better on a TV because the video output is interlaced and on a PC monitor it looks like crap and with wrong pixel aspect ratio too because of the PAL or NTSC specs, I'm saying this because I tried.

ok, thanks. I guess this just gives me an excuse for an hdtv/monitor :D
