@ the guys with tempdiode board and prommy.
Whats the difference between your CPU temp and your Evapo temp?

depends mostly on the mainboard. Some boards which read the on-die temp will give pretty low temps. If you have an 8RDA or NF7 though, you're more likely to get positive temp readings or close to positive (NF7 slightly more accurate), because there is some heat intruding into the socket polluting your reading.

i sould write me another artical on how to fix this.
but here is what i did to a epox and abit.you see the foam with the hold filled with dielectric grease.it transfer the temps.it works.
here is a pic from the bios screen on my abit.so it is reading now.but is so cold it is screwed up.

so would this work to get more on the mark readings with regular or water cooling to right?

i dont think it will help normal,or water cooling.
becuase the problem we have is the board it self is so much warmer than the cpu in a prometia system or simerlar.in one of the sub 0 systems it affects the reading becuase of the thermister or diode reading is pulling heat from the board.
since water and air cooling doesnt have this effect i dont see it helping very much.

Ive got a NF7S 2.0...
The temps seem to be from the in die termistor... 7C @ 2.75ghz @ 2V, evap @ -26C
system temp. is 10C..
