View Full Version : Picture Thumbnails arn't showing

I have a big picture file, and I have it set to thumbnails, so I can see the picture without enlarging it...however, out of 2000 pictures, about 10 of them work, the rest just show the "jpeg" image windows makes (You know, the paper with the orangy thing and the boat?). Is there any way to fix this?

Similar issue happened to me with certain bootleg tweaked versions of xp that I prefer to use for the speed. Don't know if it will help you out, but there is a dll that enables the picture thumbnail viewing. You just google for it, and drag it into your system 32 file (c:windows:system 32)
dll: shmedia.dll
then you just start, run regsvr32 shmedia.dll
fixed it for the scorpione's sico win xp. :cool:

just redo it again i suppose if it worked b4...you must have run a system cleaner or installed a new program of some sort...

No, I thought it might be a system cleaner (CC Cleaner, Reg Vac <--especially, etc. So I didn't run anythong, I just rebooted and it was gone :/

Are you using Zonealarm? If so, go to Privacy, then Ad blocking select custom, uncheck banner/skyscraper ads. nvm, thinking of different problem.
