The best score ive ever had was on Aztec in 1.6 during a clan match. I don't have the screenshot anymore because it was about a year and a half ago so its been a fair few formats since then. However i finished the map on 29-1.

Thats my best ratio score.

My best score back in the days was a 25:0, 29:0, 28:0 on 3 games in a row on 30min maps. Damn those were the days. But wasnt 1.6, cant remember. I still have the replay, but no idea what verion it was on, so I cant watch it :/

First map was office and I was playing P90 only.
That was one of the funniest evening ever (if you can call playing CS on a Friday evening fun at all :P)

Another funny moment was when I played 4kings and shot 3 of them from behind. But they played with 3 man less and pistols only and still won, gah.

Too bad I cant rememebr what email addy I used to the steam account :/
Can only play crappy source now :(

Someone has been CS'ing since the good old days of 1.3 :toast: :toast: I love all the 288-300 pings in the screenshot, reminds me of when I used to play CS in 2001 w/ dial-up, 100mhz Pentium 1, and a 4MB video card :)

if you play source type cl_crosshairscale 3000 into console

i personally use 5000

you will find it much easier to get headshots!

and its CAL legal!

ps i used the name Marios cuz another guy named mario was play in that server, so they wont know which one to ban lol

man hacking is soo much fun when u dont get VACed( Valva Anti Cheat ... if they catch some cheating stuff in RAM they ban u for ever) , or if there r no admin on taht server ... and that server has 30+ ppl playing there its just a lot of fun

My best was sth like 40-3 on public, on de_dolls - the map is biased and I was playing on harder side (CT) but against some n00bs who didn't know the tricks and best routes on that map.

pathetic... not to be mean or anything, but who cares about your score in a public server? most of the people that play in pubs are ones that have little experience with FPS games and the only reason they got cs:s was because they bought half life2, and as for 1.6 the pubs are full of noobs.
And theteamaqua, noobs like you that use cheats make the game worse for the rest of the community/players.

Most people I know play in pubs and Teams so not as if your a bad player in pubs generally i can get about 30-3/4 in pubs and in matches depends on the team you play i've had 1-12 but then i've had 23-2/3 in matches so depends really :/ so you can't exactly slate people for playing what they like to play as i prefer pubs for the atmosphere

60-10 in a cs_office game in Source

I have a screenshot but don't feel like uploading it. Doesn't sound that great, but I very rarely see people get 40 kills in that server before it goes to the next office game.

i dont take screenshots since i really dont think scores matter in pubs. the best i think was in a ghp server 55-3 67% headshots and it got me banned. only server i play at is teamlethal since they are the only people that dont ban me.

guns i use are all standard usp, deagle, ak, m4, awp. i spend very little time awping since its boring and no challenge. it was much more fun awping when quickscope was not taken away.

not in clan because most servers kick me before i get a chance to join. and dont move money to join esea.

DONT HACK. hacking ruins the game.

ok all of ur rates are pretty bad if i understand all this rate business properly
deepsilver for examlple, you are receiving 20.3/s from the server, in other words you are getting information for 20.3 fps per second
and ur pumping out 41.3/s, 41.3 fps of information, and actually getting 141, confusing the hell out of me cause typically the out rate should be the same as the fps
all this means ur pc is guessing on all these frames inbetween and giving you bad registration and so on

You have everything correct, you are almost there!

The thing you forgot is server side. Those servers cannot handle 20 players sending are receiving 100updates a second. Most likely that server is rated at 66tick, so the max any player can receive at any time is 66/s up and down. But since there are 20 players it is throttled to 20/s 41/s.

Still he might have cl_updaterate 40 cl_cmdrate 20, which means hes getting all that he is asking for, I'd have to see his config to be sure.

I've been over 1k score in a deathmatch server once. That was my best score. Otherwise, I've had 100-5's in awp_map servers. I am probably one of the best awp_map players in the U.S.

and this SS isn't score, it's just EXTREMELY rare. Back when steam was first released they had a bug where 2 people could have the same steamid, but the first digits would be 0:0 and 0:1, only about 25 of these exist. I was pubbing one day and found out I had one of them, and we were actually in the same pub!

Can someone beat me on scores? I used to be good hehe. In all the years only 1 person could really OWN me :)

I still play occasionally, but these kinds of scores are NOT possible in CSS. You can't shoot through walls and headshots are not as easy. The spread on the guns is also not as predictable.

I eventually got banned from all the good servers I used to frequent :(

I was no good on other maps. But on iceworld half of CAL-I players I played called me a cheater :ROTF:

Never really gained an appreciation of team game in CS. Camping together. Rushing together. Boring :down:
