A few days ago I posted here, so ppl much be knowing my problem already. In case you don't just ask me to post the link of that thread here.
A few days ago some weird drilling sort of sound started to come from my system and it still comes, especially while and after games or sometimes just with downloads beings on in XP. But since that time I feel that my gaming performance has noticeably increased, games haven't become what they should with a 1900xtx, but they have certainly improved.
I don't know from which component exactly does the sound come, but I feel it can be the GPU, alternately could it be TT BT?
Besides, my idle GPU temps seem to have dropped on average about 3-4C.

12x9 High 16x AF CCC- Disabled Optimizations, Quality (not HQ)
Playable but occasional jerks, occasional means like about 1 jerky every 5-15seconds.
Hitman Blood Money, not quite playable, but maybe a tad better
Prey, can run at better settings than before, or maybe just slightly, but still needs improvement
But then there are games like TimeShift, San Andreas where there is no improvement as at all.
What could be the reason for this sudden sound and maybe games getting better?
