Is this the Etasis or a beefed up Enhance? The specs look identical to the the ST75ZF leading me to think it is the Etasis, if thats the case this thing is hot!

I don't know when this thing went up for sale, but I just saw it as I was browsing. I saw this too, it was in another thread...

Is it right, can you get a modular version of the 750watt Zeus for like $30 less! BTW if this is out, does anyone know of plans for a modular 850watt version?

It's an Enhance. It's a beefed up ST60F. Well... I'm sure there's more to it than that.... but it's an Enhance. ;)

I gotta admit that's pretty damn cheap! I'm curious why tho, did they skimp on parts or something? At that price it beats a lot of 750 psu in its class including Corsair HX620, Seasonic M12-700, Silencer 750, Toughpower 750. Maybe just price war since only one or two stores have close to this price, while everyone else is atleast $160. I'm still waiting on jonny's autopsy report but this looks like one hell of deal.

Do you have one on your bench Jonny? I havn't looked in your forums for a while but I would love to see a review of one. It is an Enhance though...hmmmm...I was hopeing for the Etasis. It is a beefed up ST60F, that is disappointing, I was wanting something new from Enhance, I can't wait for their two new 1000watt models to hit the stores! Enhance with some minor enhancements is still good, and for the price it is awsome!

So is the consensus that this is a better deal than the Corsair 620w?

At that price point I would say so, I would like to see a review of it first before I outright recommend it, but trust me I am not saying that the Enhance's where bad units, they deffinatlly where not. I was hopeing for a modular Etasis, but I will take what I can get. So if it where me and it was between this unit or the 620watt Corsiar, I think I would get the SilverStone, but it is a hard choice, ultimately price vs performance...the SilverStone wins in my book.

So is the consensus that this is a better deal than the Corsair 620w?Corsair = Seasonic that can take 770W peak output...good for heavy single card, single cpu ocing.

Think c2q + G80 on phase. This is for slight oc on two G80s.

Well I don't plan on going dual GPU any time soon, so the Corsair would be the unit for me?

The Strider Jon was testing blew up during the hotbox test. He's waiting on an RMA. The Antec Trio blew up again as well. Check the forums to track down discussions regarding these incidents:

I thought I had heard that the Antec bit the dust, but the SilverStone did too...wow! Yeah U I would say for a single card the Corsair is enough, for sure, I agree with Prekam.

As they say, "One swallow does not make a summer". So I'd wait to see how another sample turns out. It could very well be a design bug with thermal shutdown (if that feature is available on these units).

IF it blows the test, it just plain blows ;)

He once blew an FSP 530W before the testing even got started... yet you won't see me getting rid of mine anytime soon ;)

So it is confermened, at least for me (and yes don't worry I did really beleive you Jonny), it is an Enhance. I guess it had to be since the Etasis has a sandwiched PCB, therefore no room for the 120mm fan. It is still a strong unit, looks like it didn't performe to bad either. I would consider it....if I wasn't looking at the Zeus ST85ZF or a 850watt Zippy :)

I agree with Wolf, it isn't bad just because it blew. Somethimes :banana::banana::banana: happens that sucks, like when my storage HDD said no more and took all my movies, music, homeowork, drivers, and freeware with it....sad sad day that was, oh well I got a new drive, and I called mommy and daddy from college and told them it was my main drive so I couldn't get any work done, they bought me one right away....hehehe. Don't worry I eventully told them, they didn't care, it was only like $100.

edit: XS is censored now?? It bananaed out my word, oh well, it is for the better, some threads where getting bad. Hmmmm..... it wasn't even really a bad word, again, oh well.
