got this pm from someone on steam. looked official but obviously im not retarded and didnt fall for it. thought id spread the word

the latest i saw involved a web site, cloning a famous clan (don't remember which), and recruiting people to the clan. BUT if u wanted to be an admin in their server(s), u should provide them with ur account login and password, so they could "integrate" it in their plugin to recognize u as admin !

they put the thing on the chat window that says " dont tell your password to anyone" because alot of people were trying to steal steam accounts the same way
rofl i knew this guy that scammed about 5 accounts LOL, i myself got keylogged once, and when i tried to log in to my account the pass was different and the email was changed, thank god for steam support and my cd keys :D i got my account back in 2 days

They try that all the time...on x-fire even on aim. They went to our team's cal page and got my friend's name. Then IMed me and says hey it's Matt. I'm like who and he's like from your team...He asked to borrow my steam account so that him and his cousin could LAN together. While this is happening I'm talking to my friend Matt in vent and he's like I don't even have AIM. So I tried getting his account and password and it didn't work, and I asked him to send me some more child pornography and was like wtf and left :).

is that guy for real? Alter the CPU at a molecelur level? All the CPU would do when it process email is switch off and on transitors, just because its a virus doesnt mean the CPU will suddenly start changing those transistors into u a bomb.
