Hey.
Friend called me, that he have prob with thome network.
he have a TNN Router (Aztec) 600EW.
anyway, i've manage to connect the laptop via wireless connection, and ping to router fine.
when i do tracert to www.google.com, it get outside (to red.bezeqint.net - the isp redback, and go on...)
but when i try to surf the net, nothing happend, Page cannot be found.
i've reset every option at the browser settings, restart, renew tcp/ip.
anything else u can think of ?
how about using a live cd ( ubuntu maybe :D )? In that way you know wether it is the OS or just hardware.

Have you tried,
Browser | Internet Options (IE) | Connections Tab | Setup | and configure for always on connection? Can you ping both IP & Domain names successfully right before you try to reach internet?
my advice to you is to plug the laptop to the main connection of the router, see if it works.
if it dose'nt try what G H Z suggest

i can ping the domain and ip from the laptop via wireless
but explorer cant surf there...
I bump this problem previously,
The problem was the IE connection setup… usually I reconnect the wireless network by unplug the adapter and plug it again to the computer and it worked terrific.

Another diagnostic step would be to attempt to open a connection on port 80.
1) open a command shell
2) type "telnet www.google.com 80"
This will attempt to open a HTTP connection to google. You SHOULD see a blank screen after a fer seconds. Then press Enter twice. You should now see HTML code of the google page. If you do not, post the results here.
