It's definately D9, not sure which exactly, but they are good IC's.
In the 3DGM review, it hit 800Mhz 3-3-3-10 @ 2.4V
In the BCCHardware review, it hit 824Mhz 3-3-3-12 @ 2.35V
The only issue with this ram is the price, ungodly expensive!

I was referring to Crucial's MSRP, but Newegg's price is quite reasonable :)

I managed 800 3.3.3.12, but needed 2.4V for it. AFA cosmetics, it's nice to see all modules touching tape, then spreader. They're kinda purty too. :D

Yes, they can do 1000Mhz @ those timings.

Newegg no longer has them and ChiefValue is OOS.

Mine won't boot at cas4 but will boot and run stable at 5-4-4-12 DDR2-1000 2.3v even 2.4v didn't give me cas4 and I'm unwilling to go higher so I left well enough alone. Still hella good as it's cheaper than buying any DDR2-800 and hoping to do 1000 with similar timings.
I did also notice newegg removed the listing (they had stock earlier today though) and I just got mine so I must have ordered at the right time.
edit: Maybe my board undervolts and I should try higher than 2.4? I have no mods to it. What do you think? worth it to try 4-4-4-x DDR2-1000?
or just don't touch it? I do have a 60mm fan blowing on them

Try this:
http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/876/crucialcq5.jpg
So in order: 4-4-4-10-4-35-10-10-10-10 and the other settings exactly the same. I hope this helps.
Set vdimm @ 2.45v and see if you get it going.
Check with I did with a P5B Deluxe WiFi:

Thanks but it won't post even at 2.45v and those settings. But 2.25v (in bios) boots at 5-4-4-8-4-35-10-10-10-10 But as soon as I set cas4 it won't boot at anything past 800Mhz.

I know there's a newer revision. DO you think I should get it?
try 4-4-4-12-5-35-4-10-5-13
what are your voltage settings for nb, sb etc.

No go even at 2.45v even 4-6-6-18 is no good *shrug* I've tried NB/Sb/iCH at max volts and it still wouldn't post at cas4 DDR2-1000. I probably have a set that just won't do it :slapass:
I'm even running the latest BIOS 804 and no change. Oh well I did manage to boot at 5-4-4-4-4-35-10-10-10-10
edit: Now I got it to boot with 804 bios and 1.7v on the NB and 1.6v on the SB 2.4v on memory (tried this with 711 I think and no go)
DDR2-1000 4-4-4-8-5-35-10-10-10-10 why would I need so much voltage on the NB/SB?

Crucial's Tenth Anniversary modules are not even mentioned on that page...
Besides, D9DQT is no longer in production.
They use D9GMH (B6-3) which can be found on my DDR2 RAM List (http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2).

They do. The ICs used on Tenth Anniversary DIMMs are handpicked by Crucial.

I maxxed my voltages on the FSb termination, NB, SB, and ICH (running 2.3v on memory) to boot 4-4-4-12-5-35-10-10-10
Gonna run memtest

damn I was just about to order this stuff from newegg and all the sudden they aren't carrying it :( I just I'll go back to the dominator 6400c4 (same IC's) the crucial at the price was a steal.

Unfortunately it's probably limited edition and won't be available again. I think Crucial should consider re-releasing it under a different name as a high performance overclock friendly part. Something similar to the mushkin redline or Dominator series. If they can make sticks that do DDR2-1000 at cas4 and they're rated for 667 that's amazing results. Especially at the price they retailed for (MSRP is $311.99 at crucial.com now)

well thats to bad :( I'm kicking myself for not ordering the other night I had them in my cart at the egg, and I figured i would just wait (I haven't yet decided on all the components for my new rig) I thought to myself, if I wait worst thing that will happen is they will get cheaper... no dice :( you snooze you loose, lol
** this is not my day, the egg doesn't have the 6400c4 dominator up anymore either :( they had it up a few weeks ago then took it down, then put it back up earlier this week.

Get the Buffalo Firestix DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 part. It uses Micron D9GKX (the newer IC after D9GMH) It's only $241 for a 2GB kit from newegg. That will clock high.

These?

I still think the Super Talent looks like one of the best deals, lowest latency I've seen at that price:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820609026
before has them up to 1270 4-4-3-4 at 2:3 ratio here:

That's the ones. The Super Talent is really good too.
BTW; I just failed memtest at 4-4-4-12 DDR2-1000 on my Crucial...back to 5-4-4-12 which passed fine before
