I am searching for some ram sticks which are the last parts I need to order to complete my new rig. I am going with p5w64-ws and I already received the 6800x.
I was reading some really great things about the corsair pc2-8888 but they are tagged at 600 bucks, and are out of stock at most stores.. Any other sticks you guys recommend?
I was looking at the g.skill hz or maybe the GeIL Ultra 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000)...both cost half the price of the corsair, so I could buy 4gb instead of 2gb with the same budget.. and more ram is always good for my work (video editing and post production).. would I notice much difference in the performance with the corsair sticks? is it worth the wait/price?
any advice is really appreciated
