Hi Guys,

I will need your help!! Recently, I would like to upgrade 2* 1 GB DDRII RAM on my system. As I checked my local computer store, I found a very interesting thing. I am pretty interesting at Super Talent T800UX1GC4 ( They don't have the 2 GB kit in stock). But it appear there were 2 differences heat spreader and both of them have same model number T800UX1GC4 at the same price. How could I tell these rams are using D9 Chip and what is the difference beside the looking of heat spreader?? Please help me to make the decision.

Thank you so much for your help!!

both are using D9 chips, Silver heatsink ram are early batch and Blue heatsink ram are latest batch but if you can get the Silver heatsink then go for it cuz you might lucky get the best D9 chips which is D9GKX

both are using D9 chips but you'll not likely to find D9GKX in Blue heatsink (I didn't see one yet) but Blue heatsink uses D9GMH

Oh I see. If I buy both differences heatsink. Am I going to have problem to run these rams on my system?? Since they are using differneces D9 chips.

All of my friends were using differences brand of DDR II ram. But none of them using super talent. It make me feel so bad. As I check the Super Talent official web site, it showed T800UX1GC4 is supporting to My MB. Any way, I will buy these rams and hopefully it will not going to have any problems on the Over Clock.

Thanks Guys!!

I've 2 kits of early batches T800UX1GC4 (silver heatsinks) and the one I've tested is pretty good. I think its a good buy for the price.

I have T800UX1GC4 27th week 2007, 4*1GB, they have D9GMH, and can do 1000MHz @ CL4 with 2.2V... not bad at all!
