I have the PC6400 Gskill HZ. But i cant get them to work like everyone else. Highest so far stable is 500 mhz @ 4-4-4-10. What other ram is out there that i can get (short of like the $600 pairs lol) that i can overclock with some tighter timings with?

Teamgroup Xtreem, visit tankguys.biz or wait until someone gets some MCS Cellshock ram here in the states... I'm guessing tankguys will come through with that as well... at least I'm hoping so.

Nein! Teamgroup Xtreem or MCS Cellshock! :slapass:
Oh and "nein" means no.
lol I don't know anything about the Corsairs, the Teamgroup and Cellshocks are much better for OC'ing.
check this thread to see if the ram has micron chips http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44365
if they do, they're okay to OC
Also, it completely slipped my mind that you have the G.skill hz's... they should do fine OC'ing, if yours are having problems, then RMA them. Talk to G.skill technician.
Teamgroup has been getting a good amount of RMAs as of late. And from what I hear TankGuys are slow on the ball when it comes to RMA. Like weeks slow.

Hmm any other suggestions. i run on a 4:5 divider. I heard that may be ther reason i cant get the timings straight
IMO I think your memory is perfectly fine. Like you suggest it may be with the way you have your system configured. Worse comes to worse relax the timing a little. Also you can’t really compare $300 memory to $430 memory :P

Lol i remember people saying something liek 4:5 hurts the overclock. so i dunno when i get my phase back ill try 1:1

Not me - I had a bad stick of Team 800 - I e.mailed details and pics and they shipped replacements immediately.
maybe ill reconsider them then.
main thing holding me back is that on tuesday i was thinking about getting their ram at $270. Wed it goes to $280. Thurs it goes to $290. After that in just a few days I said screw it.
Ill still most likly going to go with the gskill hz stuff.

I wish I went with the HZ's when they were still $250 a month ago, instead of cheaping out on the PK's.

ONLY 500? Pshaw, that's great. Especially at those timings. You expect too much.

You said this over on OCforums too... where are you getting this info??
90% of RMA's go directly to Team, and they usually handle it within a day or two. Though there have been exceptions. Those that they don't take, we handle directly, and do so pretty quick.
The only "slow" RMA's I've had lately were 2, maybe 3, where messages either got trapped in our SPAM filter for some reason, or there was miscommunication between Team and myself.

All it takes is for a few people to talk bad about their RMA experience and it just magnifies across the forums.
My mistake about saying that you are the problem. Like you said in another thread, TeamGroup was on a holiday break (think of x-mas), so for a solid week no one was in the office to respond to rma requests.
Now with knowing that, my outlook on TeamGroup is a lot higher. Just hope that when I order your DDR 2x1024MB 6400 sticks that I don’t run into an issue that needs to be solved via the RMA path :P
