I was scouring over neweggs refurbs and I found a rather curious set of ram.

ram thats rated cas 4-3-3-8 at 800 mhz.
thats a charactoristic of D9 ram, to be able to run ras to cas 3 at 800 mhz... so I wonder if this is some good hidden ram from a company that gets little attention.... or just cheap ram...

unfortunatly PNY's website, is rather blank for information, and theres no real user review of the ram thats actually helpful.

I'm curious enough about it to try it myself, but I just bought a videocard this afternoon, so enough spending for me for this week...:D

Well, I wouldnt consider that cheap, DDR2 is expensive as hell right now. I got 1g of D9's for 97$ new from tankguys a month ago.

However, I would suspect that they are some low grade gmh though :D

can't be too bad if it's rated for 4-3-3. might be something else all together. might actually be 266mhz at 4-3-3 :lol2: (though it seems unlikely)
