This is powering my "garage" rig. Basically it is an old computer that is out in my garage because I didn't have room for it anywhere in the house. Right now it is limited due to the HDD, but serves as an web sufer and music player. If I'm out in the garage I basically load up a Winamp playlist and have something ot listen to.
System:
1.2 Athlon T-Bird
Gigabyte 7VTXE+ ala VIA KT266
256MB PC2100
Geforce4 MX440
2GB Quantum Fireball HDD
4X Toshiba CD-ROM (out of a 1996 Gateway)
PCI Wireless G network card
Power supply that came with a Linkworld case. To my recollection it is a "400W" with somethig like 16A on the 12V rail.

I did modify the PSU by swapping the stock fan with a much quieter one. I wanted a computer that could be running and would barely be audible. The computer isn't really worth anything but I don't want to unnecessarily screw it up becasue of a $10 PSU.

Results according to MBM:
3.3 Current 3.30 Low 3.23 High 3.31 Avg 3.29
5.0 Current 4.66 Low 4.42 High 4.72 Avg 4.60
12.0 Current 12.65 Low 12.14 High 13.04 Avg 12.70

Not a problem, after XP SP2 stripped and a few applications installed there aren't many games under 500MB.

I suppose I am going to have to invest in a multimeter sooner or later. I am hoping for later, when I have more disposable income.

*EDIT*
I would've posted a screenshot but Paint isn't installed.
