Omega gives a slight/marginal/non-existant performance increase, but, it has no CCC.

The Nvidia ones used to be insane for 3D Marks.

Excelent. I would really like to get back to using ATI Tray tools instead of the POS software that ATI has provided.
FWIW, the big thing that Omega does is tweak the video quality. While ATI already has the best video quality, he tries to make it better while finding little performance tweaks wherever possible.
BUT the biggest thing he has done for the community recently is integrate ATI Tray tools into the drivers and eliminate the need for CCC.

A pity I can't use these for my laptop either. Ah, well...

You Could use the old CP instead, I personaly use only the Driver + ATi Try Tools, Ray tries to make it stable for 1xxx cards (in OC and other tweaks the rest is fine) ;)

It works for X1950XTX if you edit the INF ;)
ATI tool finally works for me now, as I had many problems with Cat 6.10 beta and it :)

I've tried Omega drivers in the past with my old 9800Pro up to like Cat 4.6 I think it was.
with this new X1900XT, I'm fine with the CCC from ATI...you can slightly OC the card's mem/speed and that's good enough for me.
