View Full Version : Is it possible to make my mach2gt work without a controller?

Something is definatly wrong with my mach2 and I can't seem to figure it out. I pretty much just have a $800 paperweight here (although it really is a strong paperweight). I am just guessing but from what I observe the controller seem to keep shutting down the compressor, can I just remove all of that controller stuff and just make it get cold? Like I plug it in, the evap head gets cold, I plug it out, it stops getting cold.

Yeah, you can just plug compressor to power supply and it must work without controller, remember about fan on condenser, you must plug it too (don`t know at what V fans in mach2 runs, 12V I think)

What about the heating backplate on the mounting kit ? Will that automatically turn on when I plug it in a PSU (this is probably a dumb question I'm sorry)?
