How the heck do they justify 370 bucks for a mid tower that looks like a cheapo antec?
How many FPS will it add?
How much cooler (ie..temp wise) will it be than a normal case?
Answers: none and none, so WHY THE HELL DOES HE HAVE HIS OWN CASE???
There are ppl here and on many other forums who actually have some good ideas on case design...why are they not listened to???

This was in the Xtreme News section. It's just a piece of junk with Fatality stickers. Seriously no one knows why he has his own case, only a fool would buy it

He is just a name. I guess Zalman is hoping people will buy it because his name is plastered all over:hm:
At this price so many cases beat it; MM UFO, Silverstone Tj-07, Lian-Li PC A10, Lian-Li G70, GG 3d Aurora, and tons of cases half that price to name a few.

Lol. It's become the basic rules of marketing PC parts. Throw on a handful of LEDs, slap on a Fatal1ty sticker, and jack up the price 50%.

I thought it looked ok
I wouldnt want one myself as it looks a bit riced up with the stickers, but ive seen much uglyer cases than this.

I think it looks ok, but would look a million times better minus the logos.
Check it out though, this kind of sucks

I guess they arn't really stickers, I guess they are kind of etched in there. I guess you could strip it down to bare metal, re-aanodize it or powdercoat it, and have a unique case. Not a huge fan of the bright red fans, or the fact that they are 92mm. It looks a little short though, like it might be cramped, and a little to tight for water. Oh well, nice try Wendel, but it won't be on my desk anytime soon.

I really quite like the look of the thing tbh. Well, if it wasn't for the logos all over it anyway. If you stripped the logos away it would look somewhat similar to a Soldam Windy case which is no bad thing.

Yea I like how it looks too (minus the logos) with it's brushed black aluminum outside and black painted interior. Now if they (1) changed the front to a 120mm fan (2) took all the logos off it (3) sold it for <$200 I think I could get myself to buy it. Its got good features otherwise with the suspended hard drives, low restriction front intake and what-looks-easy-to-open side door. I think it was good design until someone said "Hey... what if we make this the Fatal1ty case?..." Then it went down the pooper.
Definitely cramped... also weight is very high for such small case.

How can you call it a piece of junk? It's made from high quality materials and is expensive but junk it is not, some people can see quality obviously you can't which is your loss. Are Rolls Royce junk just because they are expensive?

No.. but Fatal1ty fanboy crap on an otherwise halfway decent case instantly catapults it into that category..

IMO that case is a crap design, too darn small and too darn heavy, but if you like paying a lot of money for a name, go ahead and blow yourself away.
Like it was said...
As mentioned previously, the design of the HDD caddy at the front of the chassis could be compromising the cooling from the pair of 92mm fans and, unsurprisingly, the readings we took indicate this to be true.
There is does seem to be a potential issue with the airflow through the chassis which resulted in the high idle readings, especially considering the readings were almost exactly the same as the Cooler Master Mystique 632 results.
How is that a problem? Well, the idle readings on that chassis were taken with an ambient temperature four degrees higher!
Overall, then, the thermal performance of the Fatal1ty FC-ZE1 was nothing to write home about. An average performance, really.
