running memory at 5-4-4-9 faster then 5-5-5-12? I'm not sure because I havn't seen many people run there ram at higher number first then lower 2nd. I might be wrong though.

because usually the mhz hit at 5-4-4 are the same as hit by 4-4-4, which will perform better

My ram won't do the 4-4-4 it just reboots the computer and resets :-(

well, it could be something other than micron chips too, which means it'll scale differently with timings than like 90% of the results we're seeing here at XS :D
