well we think there shouldnt be a problem to post this in here. since we are a new spanish spoken site aimed at high performance hardware.. however we plan to open some discussion over our place in both english and spanish for this tool wich is in alpha state and will allow you to automaticaly post your scores in our website and you will be able to use a link as proof of your results..
some features
built in validation system (wich if you guys think it can be cheated please let us know. so far we cant find a way to cheat with our new little tool
euler calculation method (more to be xplained later)
GUI
run a pair of this for dual core cpus (we will improve its code in later releases)
several benchmarking formulas built in
AGAIN THIS IS AT ALPHA STATE .. we are working on several other things to improve the program.
requeriments.
download at www.modslabs.com scroll down and you will find it at the botton of the page..
in order to use the validation systems.. please register to the site and once you are registered you can with your account validate it and post it in our database wich is in our forums..
you can use the benchmark without the need of registration but the validation system will not work since it needs to be uploaded to the site
have fun.. there are many improvements for future version 1.1
thanks we hope you guys enjoy it,

As ModsLabs team user, lets see some things.
As we want to make a really strong database, using the validation tool is very easy.
Please, fill out your simple registry here: http://modslabs.com/modules/ipboard/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00
Then, just run the CPU Benchmarkl and when finished it will ask you your username and password. Just type it and click "send". It will do all automatically similar to an hwbot ranking.
Please, contribuite to this benchmark and lets see what youve got.
If you want to bee in the principal ranking... the one which is going to be considered as the main one (something like SuperPi 1m) will be the 2^8 Euler calculation.
Anyway, try uoploading also your other scores, or at least contribute with the 2^2 and 2^4 benchmarks which wont take you more than 1 minute to finish.
Here the chart (2^8):
http://modslabs.com/modules/ipboard/index.php?showtopic=174
Thank you all for your help. Now, lets take down some places from the chart... so, overclock the hell out of there and show us the power.

not impressed...
with no decimal point system, it's too inaccurate to really be useful when competing for times...
with no native dual core support, it's kinda annoying to use.
needs work...

Junaak. Just wait till the coplete version comes out this week.
We are just finishing the las details. (Icon, decimals, dual core, memory, etc)

I like the look of the program, very clean. However, my computer is so slow it took almost 5 years to calculate 2^12. Or, it may be a bug. :)
The actual time was about 4200 seconds.

Theli. Was the score like that after running the 2^12 bench?
Did you move the register file?
Let us know so that we can fix it.

hello Kunaak. its a tool under development we just shared an early alpha version.. next one will have native dual core support.. decimal point is also a thing that will be in the next version..
but thanks for your feedback.

I had been running some of the benchmark tests (not the 2^12) while clocked at 3500 MHz, although I clocked it down to 3400 MHz due to problems with temperature. After that I wanted to re-run the tests and send them, but the program wouldn't send my new results as I had reached better results earlier.
So, I deleted the program and unpacked it again to reset the scores, which apperantly worked.
The time while running the 2^12 benchmark was increasing like it should until it reached about 4100 seconds when it suddenly made a 4.75 year jump, and continued to count at a normal rate (about 1 iteration/second) after that.
It seems that the 2^2 score also was reset when this happened, although re-benching that obviously didn't take that long. :p:

there are a few issues that will be sort out probably b4 the end of the week. about the times there is a small TXT that is located in the sys folder you can delete de entries and save. and reload the exe again..
things to be added.
dual core support
decimal system
a few fixes (two bugs so far)
some improvements to the validation system
if there is something scaping from my mind i will update in here :)
if you guys find more bugs or have some suggestions please by all means let me know so i can talk to the developer and implement more fixes.
thanks.
