A simple question
How many CFM do u have in your ss systems??? ( I mean how many cfm are the fans you are using)
Those of you who don't use controllers and the flow is same all the time.

i think 2 120mm 70~100 CFM is enought, 1 for condensor and 1 @ case back removing compressor heat from the case, i use them

I use 2x 80 CFM in my builds and they work well. One on condensor and one pulling air from the case.

I'm actually going for a watercooled aproach hehe... both for the condensor (using a plate HX) and the compressor (custom-milling/manufacturing me some copper blocks that will fit around my rotary compressor now!) =)
Im lucky enough to have a waste-water cooling system allready going, so I can afford to dump all that heat away into the water. The second bonus is that I can then encase the SS totally in sound-dampening materials, not having to let sound leak out though fanholes. This coupeled with it being behind a wall from where I sit will makes it pretty much soundless despite it being a powerful 1hp rotary.
Il probably slap some pics up on the forums when I have those waterblocks done.

In my systems I put one fan 120 cfm
question
when u use 2 fans of 50 cfm each, pactically how many cfm do u have?

If they both pull/push the air, you have ~100cfm of air moved though the case. But if you have one pushing and one pulling the air, you would have ~50cfm moved through the case.
Hope that answers your question.
