Lately I started university, thereby I've been less active as far as hardware goes, but I was contacted some days ago - if I wanted to take part in a record attempt.

Hardware used will be revealed when results are ready...

What I need to know is:
For CF, winXP + newest cat (6.9) is perfered, right? - Or is others better? - Needs to be WHQL @ ORB.
AM3
01SE
03
05
06

CPU /// MEM:
PiFast (hexus)
Pifast (the lab)
SPI 1M

Also, LOD settings the same with CF as single gfx, right?
And finaly, any advise on a PSU?

EDIT:
Will x1950XTX bug from LN2 cooling?

Unlimited budget for this project I think, its not a project of my own, but no, we're not gonna go for LHe instead of LN2 :p:

EDIT:
THat might sound a bit odd, it is a project Im part of, we're 3 guys up for the testin'.
Dont know exactly when we'll do the action, but know theres a very exclusive lineup of mem, cpu's.. :) - The 2x x1950 cards is the only components that havnt arrived yet as far as I've understod.

Would be a pitty havin' prepared all tweaks, mounted cooling, and then no display due coldbug on the X1950 cards... Especially since theres probaly gonna be writtin an article @ this project.

If X1950 cant handle extreme cold temps, a great singlestage + DICE would work?

Or is 7900GTX's the only choise? - Its no secret the x1900's had a terrible bug, but according to what I've read, x1950 should have this fixed, but I havnt seen anyone givin' it a shot so far.
