It seems my RAID drives (2 x RAID-0 using EzRaid ports) would never spool down, so I used a sysinternals utility that showed that ezbackup.exe is writing to disk every 10 seconds or so.
Killed the process and sure enough, drives went to sleep as they should when not in use.
The question is, what useful function does this EzRaid Manager software make to make it worth having the noise of them always on?
It seems to run the RAID fine without it installed, what am I missing?
