My friend Joker asked me to mod his old Kriotech unit into a benching rig
This is how it arrived :p (poor thing)

As it for benching i've put a 1mt long flex line, its a 3/8 copper braided like on cascade. This americold compressor it has is quite powerfull, almost 1/2cv, and to my surprise quite silent, hehehe of course noise wasnt really a matter here.
So it took a 220v fan and a mix of gases to get best temps.
Controller wasnt required.

Lets see when Joker has a chance to test it properly under load :)

The unit was for me and the change from stock , to the new BlasterKrio is impressive .
Blaster my friend you have such a skill.
He also painted the compressor and the base of it .
IT looks new from scratch but it really was a old krio :P
Loaded tests will come more next weak , for now no rig for that .

i'd think the load temps should be pretty good on this unit, those 1/2 hp americold compressors are great.
i also purchased an old kryotech SuperG for modding, and it's evolved into my best single stage.

Joker tested the unit in a x6800 under high volts
Pic of the rig:

K-type probe is on side of evap, about 1cm from cpu
It was my 2nd time ive calibrated system for conroe, the 1st time, client only wanted to give 1,55v to cpu and i thought it was not a very hot cpu. With over 1,7 volts its a bit different hehehe. You can see the voltage on cpu on the multimeter on photos.
Idle temp is around -50, -51

Load temp is around -46

Blaster:again,I have to say,for that voltage (1.73,jees...!) it's a faboulous result.I've seen many peeps complaining about conroe temps at vcore over 1.6v.I just want to know how loud is that compressor and if it ain't a secret, was the gas used r402?Don't worry,I won't tell mama;)

I think it is some 402/507 + 410 or 402/507 + r23 :D

And depends what load. Dual load, or temps during 1Mb SPI.... Can he try dual load toast/prime95 or something like that.
But i can say that unit looks really nice. Blaster good work!

yeah,on the last picture he's got SPi running and -46 temps.
Maybe a dual prime would up the temps a few degrees.nevertheless, good job!
