I am planning to buy a computer next year and I have a friend in the US which comes in November (i'm from Europe) that can buy me a power supply from newegg.com
I have now an Antec Truepower 1.0 430w with 26Amps on +12V,a single rail.
My next computer will have a config like this:
Cpu : Intel Conroe 2 Duo E6600 - E6700 or X6800 if it gets cheaper
Video CardX10 Video card - to be announced
Memory:2 GB of Ram DDR2
Mobo:TBA
One hdd,one optical drive.

What power supply do you recommend me?I want a power supply with a Long Lifetime.
I know Antecs are almost the best power sources, but I also know that they are rebranded Seasonics.
How are these new Corsairs? How good are the OCZ-s?

First of all this should be in the PSU section, second of all read the stickies in the PSU section and third of all whats your budget?

This is on the wrong forum.

But anyways, OCZ, Seasonic, Corsair, PCP&C are all good. With that kind of setup, and no one knowing how much power DX10 cards are going to use, I'd say get at least a good 600W.

Could manage that on 520-600w easy.

Brands above are fine.

Seriously, people come here asking for a power supply when they don't list a budget?:stick:

I'm assuming you have $500 to blow so get an Enermax Galaxy 1000w 5x 12v PSU:D :D
