Guys
This bios was leaked and should not have been, I had to move a thread to show XS is doing its best to look after everyones interests. The bios will go live tomorrow, please do not post links untill you see the bios live tomorrow....if we upset Asus any further we will not see beta bios files like we have been doing.
Please bear with me for 1 day....then we can link and post.

I'll give it a go when its up,but i just cant overclock this board without the xp loading bar freezing,can only get into windows at stock :(
I've stopped testing new BIOS versions a while ago anyway. I'm happy with 0801. :)

No idea mate, I did not get the 1405 i just saw one of my guys found it on the net and listed it up.
I will try and find out if I can but i usually see DFI files only, Asus usually release thru websites or Andre and the other guys who beta test their boards.

Just out of curiousity has this bios rev made any major changes? I would assume its basically just the officiaL 140# release and not any diff then any other 140# (sort of like nvidia beta/official drivers). Any info on this?

so i MIND AS WELL go the cool-kids route and flash to it...
no more will i rave about unreleased bioses then if it means no more early bios

Most motherboard manufacturer's have a NDA with persons they provide beta bios with to test for compatabilty with different hardware. This process is critial as it gives insight to problems that can be corrected without the end user ever having to expirence them and getting a negative feeling about a product. A perfect example was the release of Abits AW9-D Max and it was found not being compatable with certain ram modules @ 1:1 opertation. Its important that people like Tony get these bioses so they can fine tune them or add their input to make them just right for the end user. There are times when these bioses are shared across a small network of individuals to test. This ensures consistency across multiple hardware configurations. This process should continue, I only hope that user's recognize the purpose as a whole and not be so short sighted in the future.

Actually Nemesis....you have no right to start calling people "Lost Causes" when all they are doing is linking to other websites that have a ton of information about this board...and yeah ok maybe a beta bios on there as well.
Go and complain to the mods on the other website about them hosting the link to the bios.....there is NO download link on this website to the bios.

Power is either permanant or transient. Truth is Permanant Power for It’s job is to give and give without recourse [ie action without reaction – giving without demanding tribute] whereas the truth humans wield, is transient, for they cannot create nor destroy in reality. Humans can only “use”/transform energy, the energy that is a gift from Permanant Power who can create and destroy it.
Permanant Power is helical and progressive whereas transient power is cyclical. That which is permanant, do not need to compare for there is nothing to compare. Truth is what it is, whether we know, believe or disbelieve it, or not. If we wish to “discover” or uncover the Truth, we need to accept it through a method of unbiased, non-self-deluding process. Transient or relative power, works ONLY through comparison. Objective examples are electrical potential where you need potential and ground to derive power. One million volts in space means jacko if it doesn’t ground [ie a lower potential to “compare” with]. Sound cannot be created without the action and reaction of percussion and thermal energy is meaningless without a thermal gradient. Humans wielding power have no meaning if we don’t compare what we have with others.
Whether the Internet is meant to elevate those use it maliciously or to “level the playing field”, is debatable [it is both, of course for it ALWAYS takes 2 to tango – ie to compare, we have to have action and reaction] but whatever it is, NDA, CIA, BBC, Commie, Democrazy/Demonocracy and more, it is ALL about “my organ is bigger than yours”. No if’s and but’s ........ unless you really, really, know what Truth/Wider View/Overall Picture/ETC is all about. And that state is not some knowldge, for knowledge is merely potential power which almost all assume is power itself. It is not. It’s mere imagination until you become the knowledge. So becoming the knowledge is the key. But more pertinent is becoming Truth or Permanant Knowledge for then, we won’t be deluded into associating with arty-farty entities like “Royalty”, “OC Champs”, “Secret Knowledge for the Select Few” [NDA is one of those and secret Bios-es for the elite lucky is another], “Famous Personalities”, The Pope, The Great Imam, and much more.
These are mere “transient gods” [for they all will die, won’t they, one fine day?] that work through the enslavement of people who believe that they are privy to be associated with some special truth whereas Truth is what we want to be a part of. We are to be “hollow” reflectors of Truth for if we can witness and not act nor react, we then become. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing because when the tortoise, regardless of age, power, and experience, merely exists in its own little patch of a pond and calls it “The Universe”, it is going nowhere and that’s just what it does. Going nowhere and calling it, “The Universe”. Do not delude yourself that you are anything but dumb and you’ll stand a better chance of evolving higher for then, you can only get better. Unlike that Great Tortoise who was judged and then appointed Sir Dumb Ass .... by the Majestic Few. And the reason for being born? It is to be Moral and Morality is not some medieval hocus-pocus religious sermon of a crapola. Morality is that which supports Evolution whereas ALL others support Devolution. How linking to the bios in a thread specifically asking to kill all links to it can be found to be acceptable is bonkers. They have said that they run the risk of getting their supplies cut off if this continues to happen yet some just completely ignore this and brainlessly try to justify why they should do the exact opposite of what is requested on the thread.

OK I have been informed i can move the thread back and link the bios again...that being said Trellame you are pushing your luck here...I don't care what other forums are linking but I do care what get links on XS...i asked the membership to kindly give me a day to smooth over a sitution with ASUS and you came straight back and infuriated them again....
Out of all the guys here who had the bios you are the only one that disrespected me and the forum...not good.
