Looks like my 2100+ tbred is topping out soon. It's taking 1.9v (set to 1.95v in bios) to keep it stable at 2229 MHz. It's an AIUHB 0248. According to the NF7 1.2 it's getting to 56C at this setting to. Of course it reads it high so it's really probably under 50C. I think it's time to go back to my 2400+ and see what it can crank. It's an AIUHB 0249 "Green Machine" as I call it. Think cooler temps would help lower the vcore though? I've still got a ways to go before my water cooling will be ready (I'm aiming for Middle may to early June.) :flame:

Anyone wanna trade and see if they can get it higher? :stick:

If I remember correctly, that stepping would mean that it's a tbred "A", which is still going to take that much voltage to acheive that kind of clock, but the lower you get your temps the more stable it will be.

The B at the end of the stepping code refers to whether or not it's a Tbred A or B. If you remember most 2200+ are like AIRGA and the early 1700+ tbred As were JIUCA and JIUGA.

try burning it in somehow and maybe you will get higher mhz @ lower vcore :D

Here's an update. I swapped in my good ol' 2400+ and it's doing 2330 @ 1.85-1.87vcore (set to 1.9v in bios). It's runnning about 51C according to the NF7 so it's really in the mid to low 40's. Seems to be priming away just fine. No idea how far I can push this one but I've got high hopes for it.

Yeah, I have an 0302 1700+ that will only do about 2.1ghz @ 1.95 in my 8RDA. I'll trade ya! ;)

That's a JIUHB! No good, must be AIU(C/G/H)B :slap: hehe. I usually buy the bottom of the high end stuff.
