I have a E6600 and a Gigabyte S3 right now with a Gigabyte 3D1-Xl (temporary). I ran aquamark3 just to test it and got a 49k i would think a dual 6600 card would pull more than that. I tried the newest drivers and the "modded" drivers. I know there is supposed to be SLI but even with the hacked drivers i cant enable it. Any thoughts?

Is there any way to get this thing to recognize both cores?

gigabyte dual VPU videocards, had very very limited support.
a few gigabyte boards supported them, and then DFI boards supported them when you enable the "enhance 6600 GT" feature... or something like that.
basically if its not supported from the boards bios, your SOL.
